Response, proven in the hardest places.
After a serious injury on an offshore platform, SPS activated a full medical evacuation through the GRC. A helicopter transfer to a regional hospital was coordinated within hours, followed by a fixed-wing air ambulance to Europe for specialist surgery. SPS managed all logistics, clinical liaison and cost containment on behalf of the insurer.
When a field engineer was injured during civil unrest, SPS coordinated a dual medical and security evacuation. Within six hours the GRC activated regional aviation partners, secured clearances and transferred the patient to a Tier 1 hospital. Every step was managed through SPS's integrated response framework, with continuous medical oversight.
A policyholder on a corporate travel programme was admitted to hospital with a serious illness where specialist facilities were limited. SPS case managers liaised directly with the treating hospital, arranged transfer to an appropriate regional facility, managed admission administration and coordinated repatriation once the patient was fit to travel. The insurer received full cost documentation throughout.
